When medical company Kyphon announced their purchase of the product "X-Stop," used to treat lumbar pain, their stock jumped $10 in a single day. But in order to maximize the return on the new acquisition, they needed to send out up-to-date information on existing X-stop customers and potential new sales leads to over 600 agents in the field as quickly as possible. The challenge? In order to take into consideration the company's different areas, regions, and territories, each agent would need customized information. Kyphon needed someone to layout, print, bind and ship over 600 unique books as quickly as possible.
Variable Data Printing (VDP) allowed nSymbio to transform Kyphon's internal spreadsheets into one in-house print job with over 60% of the content differing from book to book. Each spiral bound Kyphon Business Analysis Tool featured a unique cover identifying the recipient, and inside were only contents relevant to that individual. Project turnaround, from the time Kyphon sent over the spreadsheets to when the books were shipped, was three days.
Kyphon's needs weren't just met, they were exceeded. nSymbio made it possible for Kyphon's agents to receive professional-looking, durable sales tools, not just internal data sheets, with a turn around of 3-days, all at a cost that was 30% less than the projected budget.

What happens when the second most-visited social networking site on the web holds a web-developer conference? Facebook had planned for and designed developer-guidebooks, badges, and lanyards for their 800+ attendees. Under their direction, they called on us to help them produce the final products. The challenge? Meet their budget requirements and deadlines as well as minimize the environmental impact of the project.
In collaboration with Facebooks's team, we went to work to ensure the guidebooks were easy to produce and assemble, economical and eco-friendly, while maintaining the desired look and ease of use. The final product called for special die-cut tabs and custom blind-deboss cover, incorporating Facebooks corporate graphics.
The entire book used recycled paper, as per Facebook's requirements. By judiciously mixing offset printing and direct-to-digital, we were able to maximize cost-effectiveness, offer attention-getting heavy ink coverage and avoid potential complications that could have delayed the project.
The staff at Facebook was pleased with the results. They had come to nSymbio with a challenging job, and through careful collaboration with our staff, walked away with a high quality productall accomplished under budget, ahead of deadline, and with flawless professionalism.

Networking optimization and security company A10 Networks didn't want to tie up their marketing department dealing with every little print job their young company required. Besides the usual business cards, labels, letterhead and envelopes, they also frequently needed low quantities of data sheets for their sales departments, with constantly changing information and quick turnaround times.
The solution? nSymbio designed an entire identity package for A10 using their pre-existing logo, and then set them up with a comprehensive, custom, Online Ordering System. By logging in to this custom interface, A10 is able to self-typeset the items they require, proof them, and get the exact quantities they need shipped direct to the office that needs them. 29 data sheets for a monthly sales meeting? Click, done. 75 Brochures with variable data? Click, done.
A10 is thrilled with the results, and continues to be one of nSymbio's loyal clients. The OOS frees up their marketing team to focus on the important things, like growing their business. A10 sees this exceptional level of service as an extremely high-value return on their limited resources.

CWS Events, an event production company focusing mainly on sporting events for organizations like Chelsea and Club America, came to nSymbio with the usual array of event printing needs, such as badges and lanyards, t-shirts, posters, and flyers, but it turned out they needed a lot more than just printing. With super-fast turnarounds, and hardly any advance planning, what they needed was comprehensive project management and a strategy up front that would create a road map of deliverables. nSymbio was able to help CWS set realistic goals, assess what is deliverable before the deadline (or how to modify an idea to make it deliverable), and implement an execution strategy to make it happen. nSymbio managed event elements involving: vendors, deadlines, cost, and printing including offset, digital, wide-format, screen and variable data.
So what was the customer's response? The most telling response is that they keep coming back. nSymbio now handles all the event materials for CWS Events. As for budget, after working with us on only two jobs, CWS became so confident that we provide fair and competitive pricing, they stopped asking for price quotes in advance. That's the level of trust nSymbio establishes within its relationships.
